Five ways How join Indian Navy:
NDA Entry: National Defence Academy trains for all of the three Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy. The training program conducted in here is for three years of joint training and one-year pre-commission training in the chosen academy. Aspirants can apply after 12th. There is a written exam followed by SSB for successful candidates. Exams are conducted during April and September. Forms are available from May and December respectively.
10+2 Cadet Entry: Boys having more than 70% total in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for this training. They are shortlisted based on percentage following up with SSB. The training course is of 4years. Notification is generally available from October/November.
CDSE Entry: This is a written exam followed by SSB interview. If they clear the above, they are then chosen for the desired course based on the result. The tests are in August and February.
USC Entry: Only pre-final or final year male students can appear in this exam. A primary interview in college, followed by SSB is the base to choose the successful candidates. The interview date is around July.
Graduate Direct Entries: Direct Cut-off are decided by the Navy to select desired candidates. They are allowed for SSB. The minimum qualification must be a graduate in IT, Logistics, Administration Etc.
The salary is from 3-4 lacs per annum for beginners to 8-9 lacs per annum for an officers. Along with this, you get other privileges for serving the country.
